Join meetings from the MacBook notch
Short answer: several notch apps turn your next calendar event into a one-click Join button. NotchNook (Meet, Zoom, Teams, Webex), Ledge (those plus Whereby and FaceTime, with a camera mirror), Atoll, Alcove (with time-to-leave alerts) and Droppy (with a countdown) all do it; boring.notch has it in its 2.8 release candidates. If you do not want a notch app, MeetingBar does the same from the menu bar, free and open source, with 50+ services.

Where the events come from
Notch apps read the calendars you have added to macOS's Calendar app, so a Google or Microsoft 365 calendar shows up once its account is in System Settings > Internet Accounts. The Join button appears when the event's location, URL or notes contain a link to a recognized service. Ledge, for example, looks through all three fields for a Zoom, Meet, Teams, Webex, Whereby or FaceTime link and ignores other links, so a tracking or agenda link never becomes the button.
The mirror
NotchNook, Ledge, Atoll and boring.notch can show your camera in the notch. In Ledge it is attached to the Join button: as a meeting is about to start, one click opens your camera in the card so you can check yourself before anyone else sees you. It closes with the card and records nothing.
Which to choose

- Leave on time: Alcove's time-to-leave alerts or Droppy's countdown.

- Free, with a mirror, on macOS 26: Ledge.
